Notice that the packet rate was changed during the run using a few mouse clicks and key strokes. The rate was changed for ifInUcastPkts for the particular interface from 10/sec to 20/sec, then down to 15/sec.

Notice also that the error rate changed at the same time as the packet rate, because this particular simulation had a relationship between packet rates and error rates: the ifInErrors variable was made to always return 20% of the packet rate.

None of the other objects' rates changed. With MIMIC, you have the ability to change only the parts of the simulation you want to change, down to the granularity of single MIB object instances of any single agent.
