    If the MIB you need is not listed, you can compile it in with the MIMIC Compiler. We invite manufacturers to submit their MIBs for inclusion.

  • Ready-made networks: Optionally, you can download for free a copy of a Cisco VLAN. This is one of the networks in our network library, and contains a 12 node network with VLAN info. For more details visit the Applications page on our website. Other virtual labs are available with the purchased copy of MIMIC.

  • Ready-made devices: The product ships with a small network of 7 pre-configured device simulations (Cisco 7513 router, Cisco Catalyst 5505 switch, HP ProCurve switch, Cisco 1200 AP, HP LaserJet printer, etc). Additional device libraries (last count: 131 different device types) for the following manufacturers are available for download to customers who have purchased MIMIC:

Recommended platform for 5,000 or more agents - NextComputing 's NextDimension:
We have tested MIMIC on a NextDimension Pro HD with two dual core AMD Opteron(TM) 2.2 GHz processors and SuSE Linux 10. This configuration performed extremely well for testing, results coming in at 30-50% better than other platforms tested against.
