NOTE: (1) See platform installation instructions in online documentation for specific limitations.

NOTE: (2) In addition to 32-bit executables, optionally certain 64-bit executable platforms are supported (AMD64, Itanium and Xeon on Windows, Sparc / Solaris, AMD64 / Solaris, AMD64 and Xeon / Linux) to achieve higher scalability. See online documentation for details.

NOTE: (3) We have reports of MIMIC running on other Linux platforms, such as PuppyLinux, etc., but there are too many to test. If you have a Linux platform that is not listed, try MIMIC on it. If it runs fine, let us know, else we may be able to help you get it configured to run MIMIC.

Recommended platform for 5,000 or more agents - NextComputing 's NextDimension:
We have tested MIMIC on a NextDimension Pro HD with two dual core AMD Opteron(TM) 2.2 GHz processors and SuSE Linux 10. This configuration performed extremely well for testing, results coming in at 30-50% better than other platforms tested against.

Please contact our support department at support@gambitcomm.com to help you decide the right platform/configuration for your application.
